Summary
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Speech Language Pathologist-Home Health is a licensed person required to evaluate and treat all elements of speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice disorders and swallowing function. Incumbents complete documentation, instruct patients, families and students and participate in clinical program development and management. Clinician is expected to have involvement in the areas of continuing education, departmental and community activities, outreach education and role of preceptor to student.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
The Speech Language Pathologist-Home Health must be a qualified Speech Therapist and must hold and active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence/Fellowship and current North Carolina Licensure.
Home Health experience preferred.
