Sterile Processing Technician/Full-Time/Rotating

Summary

The Sterile Processing Technician duties relate to the care, decontamination and re-sterilization of complex medical and surgical equipment and devices used daily in the hospital and it's ancillary units. In addition, the SPD Technician must understand the care and management of manufactured, non-sterilized and sterilized goods. This person must be of maturity, integrity, intelligence and dependability.

High school graduate or equivalent. Medical background is preferred. Certified SPD Technician is ideal. Must be able to read and interpret medical terminology.
