Summary
The recreational therapist is responsible for providing quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, and individual treatment. Additionally, he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and participating in the unit community relations program.
Applicant must have Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation, certification as a Therapeutic Recreational Specialist with 1-3 years experience working in mental health center and/or long term care facility. Computer literacy preferred.
