Summary

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Works within assigned clinical specialty to meet the education needs of that specialty. The educator will facilitate the adult learning process creating a climate which supports learning. Leads educational activities consistent with the standards of practice in the delivery of care and services in the assigned department. Assist the department leader with the educational operations, and compliance standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelors in Nursing degree required. Master's Degree preferred.  Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the assigned clinical area.  Experience with adult education and experience with designing and delivering training curriculum preferred.  Current North Carolina nursing license required.
