Summary
Patient Access Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of the Patient Access department. Recommends and enforces policies and procedures. Interviews and recommends hiring of new employees. Works with Patient Access Director to establish annual department goals and provides daily direction regarding the department priorities, standards, and customer service culture.
Applicant must have three plus years of Patient Access experience. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Must have knowledge of Patient Access and basic third party payer reimbursement knowledge. Must have effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrate customer services practices. Effective interpersonal skills are required. Work requires heavy telephone and public contact with patients, physicians and insurance companies. Must be able to work flexible hours. Meditech system knowledge preferred. bilingual language is a "plus".
