Summary
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The PFS Specialty Services Supervisor/Financial Analyst is responsible for supervising cash applications functions, Home Care and Hospice billing functions, serves as Lead "Lean" coordinator for PFS and coordinates Policy Stat for non-clinical areas. Key roles include performing extensive data mining, abstracting of financial and statistical information from various sources, developing scheduled reporting and ad hoc reporting, performing detail analysis of all types of revenue cycle reports for Hospital, Home Care and Hospice Accounts Receivables, Tracking and trending data, and monitoring volumes and workload distribution.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associate Degree related to Health Care Management, Health Care Communications, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Information Systems or other related area required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of six (6) months to two (2) years of prior experience as a supervisory or team leader required. Experience related to insurance, accounting, or financial analysis (Budgeting and forecasting and/or data gathering, financial analysis and reporting) preferred. Knowledge of EPIC or professional and hospital billing software related to registration, charge entry/billing and payment posting preferred.
