Summary
Observes continuous patient electrocardiograms, reports and documents changes in rhythms. Accountable for maintaining constant visual surveillance of cardiac monitor. Assumes overall responsibility for the clerical work on the nursing unit.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school graduate or equivalent required. Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course with a passing grade of 95% required. Must possess good communication skills and have the ability to react effectively to the unique situations that may arise with the cardiac monitored population. BLS required.
