Patient Financial Counselor is responsible for high quality assessment and collection of every patient account balance. He/she will process patient accounts promptly and efficiently to reduce receivables and bad debts. He/she will be very active to assure all compliance guidelines are being met to include Federal compliance, contract management, and Joint Commission requirements and policies relating to Hearing Impaired and Blind.
Candidate must have two years hospital business office experience. Medicare, Medicaid, Champus, and contract management experience required. Federal Compliance billing and collection knowledge strongly preferred. Medical terminology required.
