GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Responsible for promoting excellent customer and patient experience services to the community and Johnston Health. Serves as the first point of contact and communication for patients, families, visitors and employees of Johnston Health. Employee will greet patients, visitors and healthcare personnel at points of entry and ensure compliance with hospital policies. Addresses a broad spectrum of needs, and/or concerns in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner.
High school graduate or equivalent required. Associate’s degree in communications, hospitality management, or other healthcare related field preferred. Experience in customer service and/or healthcare preferred. Current BLS certification or obtained during the first week of orientation. Must have excellent communication skills – both verbal and non-verbal; communicating in an open, honest and objective manner.
