Summary
The Care Management Assistant is responsible for the general support of the Care Management Department, including assistance to the Director, Secretary and Care Managers. Collaborates with CM to assist with facilitation of discharge needs; coordinates transfer of information between JMC and managed care providers for authorization of services and other duties as assigned.
Applicant must have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Advanced education beyond high school in business or other relevant field preferred. Prior clerical experience in a hospital case management or related setting preferred.
