Summary
Supports pathology laboratory services by assisting pathologists with gross description and dissection of tissues removed at surgery and post-mortem examinations; maintaining instruments, equipment, and supplies; maintaining the morgue; providing assistance to funeral directors.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy. Prior laboratory experience preferred. Clerical experience as a medical office secretary or unit secretary preferred.
